The Church and All Saints Chapel

St. James Episcopal Church, as it was known prior to merging with St. Andrew's of Turners Falls, in 2017, has provided worship and ministry in Franklin County since 1812. The church is the main worship space for this active congregation. Over the years, it has also served the community as a venue for concerts, rehearsals, weddings, funerals, and even protests and rallies. The church seats up to 200 people in pews.

All Saint's Chapel is also available, and has been used for the purposes listed above, but it is more intimate, seating up to 60 people in pews.

The Green Space

The lawn space and Cloisters on the south and east side of the Church building are open to the public. There are picnic tables to use when the weather is nice. If you would like to reserve this space for your event, please complete this form to make that request.

In May, 2019, the Community Labyrinth Coalition built a labyrinth in the open space which is frequented by members of the community who enjoy walking its meditative path. Local groups have also used its space for their annual events. Read more about the Labyrinth, HERE.

There is an attached kitchenette, but for catering a reception or full meal, the kitchen adjacent to the Parish Hall may also be reserved.

The Meeting Room

The Meeting Room is a smaller multipurpose space across the hall from the All Saints Chapel, in the main church building. It is home to our children and youth ministries, bell choir rehearsals, and many parish ministry meetings. It is also available for one-time and recurring event use. It has been used for music lessons, smaller presentations, and community meetings. The Meeting Room is a great add-on option for use as a break-out room during larger meetings and as a green room for performers.

Tables can be configured to seat up to 16 conference style or removed to seat 25 theater style. An electronic keyboard is available, as well as music stands.
