Sunday Soup & SandwichesSunday Soup and Sandwiches is our free community meal served on Sundays from 11:30-12:30 p.m. out of a window accessible to our parking lot. Guests receive a warm cup of soup, a deli or PB&J sandwich, and other goodies. Folks are welcome to take as many meals as they want and we will never turn anyone away. The meal was born in April 2020 in response to the pandemic, is sponsored and run by Saints James and Andrew, and receives some volunteer support from other faith communities. We are now serving as many as 150 meals a week, and we are seeking local businesses to help sponsor the meal, and are seeking additional volunteer support.

Second HelpingsSecond Helpings is our free community meal served on Mondays from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in our Parish Hall building. It is a warm meal that is served as a sit-down meal or to-go based upon our guests preferences. There is always a vegetarian or vegan option. Deerfield Academy co-sponsors Second Helpings with Saints James and Andrew by covering the cost of supplies and providing the food and over half the volunteers. The other half of volunteers is a mixture of folks from James and Andrew and community members. In 2022, we celebrated 22 years of ministry - that is 1,144 Mondays that the community has gathered for a meal and fellowship.
