From the Tuesday, December 13, 2016 edition of The Greenfield Recorder by Recorder Staff Matt Burkhartt:

"Pedestrians pass a display of 600 mittens in front of Saint James Episcopal Church on Federal Street, representing the 600 children who were victims of gun violence so far in 2016 on Monday. The church will hold a gun violence prevention vigil on Wednesday at 4 p.m."
