Grow and Build Community​

We welcome individuals and families of all shapes and sizes to grow and build community with us. We offer a number of programs for the nurture of children, youth, and adults. We encourage you to explore the various opportunities below. ​If you are interested in getting involved with any of these programs, please contact the office.

Bell Choir
​On Thursdays at 6 p.m. those interested playing bells gather to practice.  

Bible Study  
On Mondays at 6:30 p.m. Emmaus Companions a bible study is offered where folks from SsJA, community members, and those on the margins gather together to reflect on scripture.

On Thursdays at 7 p.m. those interesting in singing in our choir gather to practice.

During daylight, enjoy walking our labyrinth. Learn More. ​

Mid-Week Eucharist & Coffee Hour
On Wednesdays at 10 a.m. worship offered in All Saints Chapel and is followed by a coffee hour.

Morning Prayer
On Wednesdays at 6:15 a.m. Morning Prayer is offered on YouTube.

During daylight, enjoy our gardens to pray, rest, be


Reflect on Christian Writings
On Fridays at 6:30 p.m. Emmaus Companions reflects on Christian writings. 

Second Helpings Community Meal
On Mondays at 4:30 p.m. there is a free community meal where share food and build community. Learn more.

St. Andrew's Guild Sewing Drop-In
On Tuesdays at 9 a.m. during the school year drop by for sewing or learn more about fiber arts. Learn More.

Bach's Lunch
​
Six months out of the year we feature a local musician (often a parish member) who offers a free mid-week concert on Wednesdays at 12:15 p.m.  (see newsletter for specific upcoming dates).

Children's Chapel
Twice monthly during school year we offer children's chapel at 10 a.m. during the first half of Sunday worship (see newsletter for specific upcoming dates).

Coffee & Conversation
The first Sunday of the month after worship we gather for coffee and community  (see newsletter for specific upcoming dates).

Green Team Events
The third Sunday of the month after worship we gather for a special event focused on creation care and addressing the climate crisis 
 (see newsletter for specific upcoming dates). Learn More. 

Youth Group Gatherings
Twice monthly during the school year the youth group gathers for lunch and games or a special outing.

Advent & Lent Book Studies
During Lent and Advent a book study and conversation follow the mid-week Eucharist & Coffee Hour. ​

Educational Forums
Once or twice a year our Priest Associate Rev. Ted Thornton offers an educational program. 

Episcopal 101
Classes are offered every other year to those interested in learning more about the Episcopal Church. This program is especially appropriate for those exploring adult baptism, adult confirmation, or reception into the Episcopal Church.

Lenten Stations of the Cross
During Lent join the Rector in walking Stations of the Cross on Tuesday evenings. 

Parish Picnics, Potlucks, and Dinners
Each spring we have a parish picnic; and during the year we occasionally will offer a potluck or parish meal (such as Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and Hymn Sing each winter).  There are periodic potlucks for the families with young children within the parish  (see newsletter for specific upcoming dates).

Quiet Days and Retreats
Quiet Days or overnight retreats are offered on a periodic basis. 

Teaching Sermons
We offer periodic teaching sermons on a wide variety of topics. View our growing list.

Our gardens and grounds are open from dawn to dusk for the community to pray, rest, be.
